Our Mission

Drea (they/she) is our primary event coordinator and facilitator, and has an ever-growing passion for showing up in the community.  Their current focuses are sex-positive education and fostering safe spaces that affirm curiosity, consent, and care, as well as curating community-building events that exclusively center Black queer women (both cisgender and transgender), transgender men, and gender non-conforming people—with an emphasis on non-sexual, platonic connection and intimacy.  

 Cadence (he/him) is our safety and feel-good aficionado. Outside of being a walking safe space for others, he is fully dedicated to his own physical and mental health and serves as a constant reminder of its importance in daily life for transgender and gender non-conforming people. He also serves in bridging the gap in communication and safety for the transgender and gender non-conforming communities. His passion is fully realized through his brand, Brutishly Queer where he hosts Sanctuary, a dedicated safe space for transgender men, trans-masculine, and masculine-of-center folks and provides health and wellness coaching services.

Sia (she/they) is a lovable presence who isn’t afraid to get down and dirty. She offers job-seeking services to youth and underprivileged members of the queer community, supporting them in building confidence and securing opportunities. Sia is also devoted to expanding queer outdoor and nature experiences. She brings the energy to every room and asks the questions we either haven’t thought of or were too shy to ask—her curiosity sparks rich conversation and connection. She co-produces events that center the Black queer, trans, and nonbinary community while focusing on keeping everyone engaged and as curious as she is.
